Dan Morrow serves as our Children's Minister. He and his wife, Krista moved to Mesquite in August of 2010 and since then gave birth to their daughter Kiersyn. Dan and Krista are from Austin, TX and both graduated from Abilene Christian University with Degrees in Biblical Text and Education with emphasis on Middle School English, respectively. The success of our activities and programs depends heavily upon the servant hearts of the church’s volunteers. There are over 100 screened adults who willingly give up their time to serve in the children’s ministry. Their dedication to the lives of our children is a reflection of the church’s priority to spiritually nurture our children and families!

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Friday, May 11
Men's Rangers Game- All men of the congregation are invited to participate in a Father/Sons/Grandad/Grandson/Uncle Nephew/Brother/Friend/Coworker/etc. Rangers Baseball Game. Tickets are $10. Call David Belt for information regarding remaining tickets. We will be taking the bus to the game and leaving the church parking lot at 6pm.
Friday, May 18th
Hawaiian Falls-This will be our Summer Kickoff event at Hawaiian Falls Waterpark in The Colony. This is one week before the parks officially open. It is a private party hosted by area churches of Christ. Tickets are $12 per person and children 2 and under are free. We will be taking the bus to the park and leave the church parking lot at 3:45. However, you can also meet us at the park if you cannot leave until later. The bus will be leaving Hawaiian Falls at 8pm. For directions to the park- click here.

WEEKLY EVENTS:
Bible Class begins at 9:00am on Sunday mornings.
-Fall 2011 in K-5th Grades we begin our 3 year survey of the Bible.
Kid Connection begins at 5:30pm on Sunday evenings and is for 3 year olds through 5th grade. This is a time where our children will engage in worship through singing, prayers and interactive participation in a Bible Story, concluding in applying the lessons from that Bible Story to their lives.
Bible Classes on Wednesday Evenings begin at 7:00pm.
